I think a lot of people would agree that working with content types other than issues would vastly improve the usefulness of this module.

aclight commentedNope, it works with all nodes, regardless of the type. However, the changes to terms made in each individual comment are only printed for issue nodes. If that's what you're requesting, then this issue is a duplicate of #343191: show changes with the comment. However, if you only want to be able to change or keep track of terms from comments but don't care about having those changes displayed in the comments, this module does what you want. Note that changes to terms on a node made from comments will display in the regular place that terms are displayed on a node (typically at the top), you just won't know what comment made a particular change.
One caveat: I did not do the port to D6, and have note tested it, so it's possible that this functionality got broken during the port. But in the 5.x version this should work fine.
