This is the active Malaysia community and web-based portal to provide such a complete tutorial on using Drupal from zero to certain level where users are able to build their own website. We integrate with phpBB3 to replace the Drupal forum which this forum was comes early before our portal officially open.
The theming for our site was build by custom code and has been design, optimize and able to being preview in any browser and any version. All the tutorial was implement in our national language, Malay to provide awareness against Malaysian's who's have same incapable understanding English.
In 5 month launch, we have 1200+ active members and some of them were interested to use Drupal as they claim before there are no such website that really provide a full tutorial on using Drupal.

Thank you for your comment. For outsider, our site may be a little bit to load but it quite fast for me as our site is running about 90+ modules enabled.
Drupal really really rock and solid. Although the online users reached at 100+ at a time, the performance never drop.

Yes, it true. One of our vision is to show off the real power of Drupal not as a content management but as a real framework. Most of the code from phpBB we transfer into Drupal assist with phpbb2drupal integration module. And also transfer some table from Drupal into phpBB such as facebook statuses.
Drupal is so so so.. what i can say anymore.. was really great and easy to manage than other CMS. I didn't mean to say others CMS not good or power but it can't beat Drupal in such many things and at one point, others will reached its limit where we can't do anything else. But with Drupal, every day we have such a good idea how to improve our site.
Drupal can handle 100+ module without any clashing and error. What a great! No.. i think Drupal is God of CMS.

Owh.. its only for supplement tutorial in our website. We can't force user to use Drupal as well as Joomla or others. But we provide an alternative way. Some users more prefer Joomla but some of them wanna try to use Drupal. But our main focus is on Drupal and phpBB.
For both, Drupal and phpBB we try to provide and finish in this year all tutorials from zero to advance plus with step-by-step learning tutorial. But for others we just put tutorial on certain topic and condition depend on request from users.

it's good that your community is "happening", and use mainly Malay language. Not every body is comfortable in English. Anyway at Drupal.my, another Drupal in Malaysia community we just use both language, and even mix ..but I would say we use english more. Well ...malaysia is mix culture ..but we are 1Malaysia !
Wish Drupal will expand popularity in Malaysia ....
