No ideas whatsoever as to the connection between views_mail and cck. You'll need to provide a bit more info. Sorry I can't tell you what would be relative, but right now, just no ideas.

I don't doubt the error. I just don't have any solutions because I'm at a loss as to what views_mail would do with respect to cck fieldgroups.

You'll need to post this warning in cck issue queue to try and find out possible causes:
