Issue Summary
Hi there,
two things:
1.) is there a possibility to disable the edit button complety (also not avalible through an url) to spezific user roles?
2.) If a user delete his/her comment on a nodetype could it be possible to set this comment to not visible and the nodecreator must commit this? For example a user types a comment on a userprofile and delete this comment. The owner will never know what there stood. (Maybe Spam, Defamations or so)
i think this modul is long ago overdue.
king regards

#1
Perhaps #1 could be rolled into the admin settings form. A setting to globally turn of editing of comments on all content types (excepting users with administer comments permission), and then checkboxes to override this setting per role (allow a role to still edit).
#2 isn't really an issue given the current state of the module (only allows content owners to delete comments). However, if #811968: Delete own comments goes in, this should be considered.
Changing the title to designate this as the issue to consider the first feature request: disabling comment edits.
