I have installed admin_menu along with this theme, and on the administration area, the theme takes over the whole deal, and admin menu disappears.
However, if on the modules admin page, the admin_menu is visible somehow.
I attach a couple of screenshots so you see what I mean.
It'd be nice if these two would work together, though I understand the new panel will probably be in the way of admin_menu. I cant see anything on the panel so Im not sure if this would be a problem and most things would be in there anyway.
I'm aware this is a dev release and so well, just wanted to report on what I find, again, let me know if you need further info ! =)

sign commentedThe new sliding panel is absolutely positioned so it's not possible to have admin menu and sliding panel enabled. But in theme configuration you are able to disable header, which will disable sliding panel and the admin menu will be working as it should.
But from your screenshots I am seeing another issue, which is that space below the header. shouldnt be there...
Thanks for reporting
