assign role to profile module (core)

hi there,

i can't find the issue with the problem that i am having been talked here.

my site has being created with Gender of Male and Female as a main factor. looking for a solution, i came across this module which i think is the nearest to the solution that i've been looking for.

for each user that register to my drupal site, they will have to select either Male or Female which i created in the user's profile module (core). so, what am i looking for is a way to automatically assign Male role to Male profile and Female role to Female profile.

i hope that someone here can lead me to that. thanks in advance.
