iTheme2 and calend icon in posts

I'm using iTheme 2 (you can see it here http://drupal.org/node/436878) but i would like to style it similar to previous version (example here: http://www.eblogtemplates.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/04/itheme-techno-2...).

I would like to add the calendar icon to the post. I can see it the images folder but I'm unable to make it visible. In style.css it appers associated to the class .post .date.

I've read here http://www.eblogtemplates.com/itheme-blogger/ that if the date doesn’t show up when you first install the theme, you’ll have to change “Timestamp Format” to this format: Saturday, February 09, 2008."

I can't find where to change timestamp format in drupal..can someone help me or give me another solution?
