Per the GMap Taxonomy module, for a given taxonomy term, what is the meaning of this item:

"If you would like nodes tagged as this term to have a special marker, choose one here."

The selection lists other taxonomy terms in that vocabulary. Note that the selection prior allows for choice of the marker graphic for that term.
