Hi,
After installing Wysiwyg API and FCKeditor, everything is working great, except that when I click the link button I get a blank box.
I've included a screenshot, so you can see what I'm talking about. Any ideas on what might be causing that? Is there something I need to change?
Any help you could provide would be appreciated.

sunThis should be fixed in the latest official releases.
jenyum commentedNot fixed, I'm afraid. I installed the latest version (released May 17) and I'm still having the same problem.
jenyum commentedOK, I installed another editor (Nicedit) and I am having the same problem. (Displayed differently, but essentially the same problem.)
It must be something about my configuration? What do you think could cause it?
jenyum commentedMore information:
Everything works fine if I have a link already and I want to edit it, but if I try to add a new link I get the blank box. Sometimes I can get the link box to appear but then if I try to insert a link the text doesn't stay highlighted and it doesn't end up going anywhere.

jenyum commentedI don't know why I didn't think of this before, it's my browser. I was using Chrome. It works fine in Firefox. (At least with Nicedit, can't remember if I tried it with FCKeditor in Firefox.)
It would seem WYSIWYG API is not working well with Chrome.
Edited to add: The identical problem occurs in Safari. In IE, it breaks in a slightly more interesting fashion - the links box works fine but the entire edit box shrinks down to about 100px wide.
Can anyone reproduce this, or is there something very weird with my setup?
jenyum commentedOK I tracked down the issue with Nicedit in IE, that's a separate issue:
http://drupal.org/node/347488
(But a big one.)
Also, I have figured out a little bit more of what is going on.
Wysiwyg + Nicedit:
*I was getting a blank link box because in a long post, when I would highlight a portion of text to link, and then scroll up to hit the link button, the browser would lose its focus on the highlighted text and there would essentially be nothing to link to. This occurs in both Safari and Chrome, it does not appear to be a problem in Firefox or IE. Because of the IE bug, the only browser which seems to work correctly with Nicedit + Wysiwyg API is Firefox.
Wysiwyg + Fckeditor:
Browser retains focus but link box is blank for both editing existing and adding new links. Same problem occurs in Firefox, IE, Chrome and Safari.

If it's just me, and you've got no problem adding links with one or both of these editors on multiple browsers, let me know and I'll keep trying to figure out if I've got an issue somewhere.
Otherwise, can anyone recommend an editor that is working great with Wysiwyg API, cross-browser? My client is not web savvy and will not be comfortable shifting to html view to add links.
Edited to Add: Just installed TinyMCE and it's working fine on all major browsers. Right now, my recommendation to anyone who needs a stable solution is to just go with TinyMCE as your editor, with WysiwygAPI. Hopefully more will work well in the future, I really like the Nicedit interface but compatibility with one browser is not going to work for me.

jenyum commentedI have changed the status of this from support request to bug report.

sunSorry, I cannot replicate this issue using the latest development snapshot of Wysiwyg API 2.x and FCKeditor 2.6.2.
Whether the NicEdit issue is still valid, I did not test - but obviously it cannot be fixed by this module anyway.
