Filter input

Can you add a Filter input; such that you could pass in something like:
column = 1 | filter
and a input box will appear at the top, that would allow the user to enter in a value to filter on.
i.e. if column 1 was a zip code field a user could filter on 12345

You might want an option to have a select statement with field names and an input box with a filter button and a clear button.
