I would very much like to work on the new updates to Taxonomy Treemenu.
However, I am ill at the moment. Nothing serious, but enough to be a distraction. Also, with just four days notice, our landlords announced they were going to rewire not only our flat, but the whole house. The disruption is likely to last three weeks or more.
I'll see if I can do any work in the meantime, but for now, I am unable to respond to queries or issues with any haste.

webel commentedHi Rob,
I hope you are feeling better and that you and your house are re-wired, so to speak.
Could you please make time to attend to the many issues I'm encountering with this module when used in combination with terms with multiple parents, and explain (or point to documentation that already explains) how to get proper MVC behaviour (updates of menu representation of taxonomy against taxonomy changes) working in the current module.
regards,
Webel

rcrowther commentedHi webel,
A menu-rebuild will always work, as far as I know, but this is obviously not an ideal solution.
In a separate initiative, before I found this post, this issue has been addressed in code for a forthcoming version. So please, if I can ask you to wait for a couple of weeks, then you should have some answers.
I find it very inconvenient to run across live issues in computing. I offer you an apology - I am sorry that you tried to use multiple hierarchies before I reached for the issue.

webel commentedHi Rob,
Rebuild every time I add a product item new terms product to a site with thousands of products ? I don't think so. I'm quite insane enough without that.
I can't wait for two weeks; I would just code something that works in that case (which seems inevitable now).
I appreciate your constructive feedback,
Webel
