Nothing is added to the queue after upgrading

Description

Since I have upgraded to version 6.20, nothing is added to the queue. This is something I have had before, but has turned up in this version again.

I have degraded, but that did not do the trick. Could anyone help me in trying to debug this situation?

I have seen that I get an error message after editing/creating a node:

warning: mysql_real_escape_string() expects parameter 1 to be string, array given in /mnt/web4/40/03/51694503/htdocs/includes/database.mysql.inc on line 321.

When I disable Content Notifications, this message will not be shown.

I have tried to deinstall and use the 6.x-1.1 version only of CN, but that did not work.

Now, I have reverted to 6.x-1.1 which solves this for now.

I installed the most recent notifications module (6.x-2.0 release) on Drupal 6.12. Nothing gets added to notifications_queue. Nothing.

I do not want to install an older version (this was not an upgrade from an earlier version). Any other ideas? Thanks.
