Conflict with Ubercart

They are maybe referring to the fact Meta tags allows to create a description meta tag from the teaser of a node.
If you have this problem, just deselect the option to generate a description meta tag from the node teaser.

Yes, it seems so.
I have actually see the title of that issue report, but I thought the topic was completely different.

Anyway, the referring version of that report is a different one, which is being developed with a different timing. I would rather keep them separated, even though I could look at the other report to see if they suggest a solution that can be used also in this referring version.

Thanks for pointing out there is already another report for a different version of the module; if you would not have reported it, I would not noticed it.

I am setting this report as duplicate of #364682: Conflict with Ubercart / Ubercart Auction; the effect is different, but the cause is the same: the use of a node teaser to fill the description meta tag.

There's another option. If you have mostly products, you'll probably want to disable the generate teaser option. However, if you just have one or two products, this is a better solution IMO.

Fill out the meta description for your product. This prevents it from trying to generate a description off the teaser but will allow your other pages to generate descriptions from the teaser.
