Doesn't work in internet explorer for me

I installed drupal a few weeks ago and can't seem to get it to work in internet explorer correctly. When I try to load it in Internet Explorer I can just briefly see the page before I am redirected to an error page. I have tried the IE Unlimited CSS Loader and has no success. I have also tried clearing my cache still no success. Also what happens is if I load my page in Firefox and use Firefox for a while and then try again in Internet Explorer it works. Does anyone know how I can fix this or encountered this problem themselves. I'm thinking it's probably because I have a large number of modules enabled but I'm not sure. I looked at your site and it is up no problem. You are using the Garland theme so it is not an html/css issue so it is not browser related.
What is the error message?

I'm getting a DNS error. This is what Internet Explorer 7 says:
Maybe it's just the stupid university computers. I've tested it on about 5-10 university computers and it doesn't seem to work until I've loaded it in Firefox first.
