Force view a node?
SpikeX - May 19, 2009 - 00:44
I'm creating a site where I need the user to agree to some terms before they view any other content on the site. So basically I need a node with a button at the bottom like "I agree" or something like that, and then that would place a cookie on the user's computer that would enable them to view the rest of the site anonymously.
Also, if the user is a member and is logged in, this page can be skipped entirely.
Suggestions?

Maybe this:
Maybe this: http://drupal.org/project/splash
or this: http://drupal.org/project/legal
I actually use Splash and
I actually use Splash and Legal together. Splash for my guests, and Legal for the people who want to register.
Thanks
Those look interesting. If I understand right, Legal is used in conjunction with the registration page, and Splash with the frontpage. Is that right?
I'm actually looking for something that will be used on certain pages (maybe of a specific content type or with a certain taxonomy term), but not actually the registration or front page.
Can those modules be configured in that way?
Thanks
