Hi,
Thanks for a great module. Certainly has some great features. I'm paritcularly interested in the Scheduling capability, but can find little documentation about it and have had little luck in figuring out how to create and activate a schedule.
Can anyone give me any pointers?

rdeboerFurther on this... we have the Features explained page, which may tell us what Rules and the Rules Scheduler can do, but not how. And the description isn't so clear. While the whole Event-Condition-Action idea is straightforward, well-understood and appealing the following page, Features explained, muddles the concepts leaving the reader wondering what exactly the differences are between actions, rules and rule sets, and how these hang together. Following that page is a simple tutorial that I hoped would make it all clear and it is a great start, but it only covers the simplest case, not how to set up scheduled rules, rule sets, actions... whatever they're called. For this we are invited to look at obsolete workflow-ng tutorials (for drupal 5), which seem to bear no significance to Rules 6.x-1.0.
Or is there more?
Rules + Scheduler looks like a great module (thousands of users can't be wrong), and being a module contributor & maintainer myself I really appreciate all the work that the authors and maintainers have put into it. I just wondered whether for the success of a module, its usefulness to the community, it is sometimes better to spend a few hours on some basic doco, rather than on implementing feature number 145... Currently the Rules module isn't doing itself a favor. The threshold for getting started with it is high because using the scheduler in particular for the first time isn't intuitive and there's no step-by-step tutorial to take you through it. I suspect many newbies independently spend hours browsing the forums piecing it all together.
Which is what I'm doing now...
Will be happy to assist in writing better doco, once I figure out how it all works....
