Hi!

We just tested Mass Contact 5.x-2.4 and have an issue with email receive confirmation. Mass email was sent to 200 users and now sender receives confirmations when any single user reads his mail. 200 confirmation mails.

I tried to search this issue and found only this (without answer): http://drupal.org/node/388060

I searched for relevant email headers and found that Disposition-Notification-To header is responsible for such notifications. But there is no such header in Mass Contact module code.

How to turn it off?

The notifications are probably being created by another module. Off the top of my head, I cannot think of which module might cause that behavior, but if you will give me a list of the other modules you have installed, I'll do a little research and see if I can figure out which one is causing it.

I can't imagine that any of those modules would be causing your problem.

Would you mind sending me a copy of one of your confirmations (including all headers), so that I can see what exactly it is that you are getting?

Sent one. It is in Russian and unfortunately I have no access to headers now.

The text says that you required to confirm your message have been read and mail.ru sends you this confirmation and so on. Other mail clients send different confirmations.

This maybe my hosting mailing server configuration. For example it automatically adds Disposition-Notification-To header to mass emails. I can't imagine other scenario, I'll ask a hoster.
