When activating the module on the administration ; we get this error :

"The translation file fr.po contains an error: the plural formula could not be parsed."
("Le fichier de traduction fr.po contient une erreur : la formule de valeurs plurielles n'a pu être analysée." in french)

What does this mean, and how can I solve this ?

This means that there was some problem with the fr.po file in the filefield/translations directory. I'm not familiar with translations nor do I know how to solve the problem. Translation files are provided by the community and I don't review them before they're added to the project. As simple solution is to just move out the fr.po file before enabling the module.
