Questions

  1. Ads are not showing
  2. I'm using the [adsense:...] tag, but the script HTML shows in the page

Answers

Ads are not showing
There are many reasons why this can be happening:
  1. You're still logged in as admin user (the module doesn't show ads for the site administrator on purpose)
  2. Make sure that you haven't disabled the ads or are in test mode in the module settings
  3. Sometimes Google itself refuses to show ads in your site. Sometimes it's because you've been banned, others it is because the AdSense spider hasn't crawled your site yet.. In the second case, all you can do is wait. If after a few days ads are still not showing, login to your AdSense account and see if you have any messages from Google.
  4. You haven't followed all of Google's rules. They will send (snail mail) you a card with a PIN that you must enter. You must select a payment method; if it is a bank account, they will make a small deposit and you must find the amount and enter that.

As a debugging help, copy the complete text of the Ad code from Google and put it in its own block.. If the ads appear in that block, try to compare the HTML source of your pages and compare the AdSense script code generated by the module with the one provided by Google. If that still doesn't help you, please create an issue in the module's issue queue and provide a public URL to your site so that we can take a look at it.

I'm using the [adsense:...] tag, but the script HTML shows in the page
There's a known bug in the HTML corrector filter in early versions of Drupal 6 (at least upto 6.12 and possible later versions). When both the adsense and the HTML corrector are enabled for any given content type, the module issues a warning that it's not a good idea.. If you're seeing HTML for the ad code and not the ad, make sure that that content type doesn't have the HTML corrector filter enabled.

Clicks not logging

I've enabled Adsence click tracking (in admin/settings/adsense/click), and I've gotten many clicks - according to Google - in the past few days, but there are no clicks logged. Is there some other setting i need to adjust or something?

Public sevice ad showing only

Identical setup on three other Drupal sites. They all work correctly. On this one domain - only one public service ad shows. The URL is not blocked and no issues exist with the Google Adsense account. Full SEO Reports checklist complimentary modules are enabled. Since the Adsense module is NOT going to be supported by Google at all, is there any troubleshooting method or tool to use to get ADS SERVED? - Or get to be served without asking for Google's help - which they will NOT give obviously.
