It seemed redundant to have an ""Attach new file:" on the disknode form, since you are already adding the file through the filepath field. However, if I disable attachments, links to the file no longer appear with the disknode listing (odd). I also found that I have to redundantly check the list box after adding the file. It seems sensible to have this checked by default after adding a file.
I guess, in the end, if it is necessary, it should be noted in the documentation that disknode requires that attachments be enabled under "admin/node/configure/types/disknode." But it would still be nice if the disknode form hid the "Attach new file:" field.
I would also like to see one more feature: optionally have an independent title or name listed with each file (seperate from the actual file name-- much like what happens in the contributed "Attachment" module).
Anyway, thanks for all of your work on this module. I am using it without these features and it is making my life easier, so thank you!

elmuerte commentedI think I fixed this bug yesterday. Could you confirm it by installing this release

bomarmonk commentedI tried that release, but the attachments still must be enabled for disknode content type in order for files to display with the node. The only problem: it seems redundant to have the attach file field on the node form, when you are already adding files through the disknode interface. Hmmm... the only thing I didn't do was update my database. Is there a change in that regard?

elmuerte commentedSorry, but I can't reproduce this problem. On my test site I don't have any other file related module enabled and everything works.

elmuerte commentedBe sure that you have the "download files" permission set for that user group.
