hi all - I'm pretty new to drupal, and this is my first customisation attempt.

I want to create a custom user list page, and I've followed the instructions here: http://drupal.org/node/35730.

The issue is that when I call up a user list on my site, I get a default list that doesn't show the custom fields I put into my profile_profile.tpl.php page.

I'm using bluemarine theme, and have placed the new template.php in that theme's folder along with the custom profile php page there as well. I also went into the administration page for the themes and saved configuration in order to force it to reload the configuration, but still no custom page appears.

any suggestions? thanks.

same problem, if you look into your html, you found

PHPTemplate was instructed to override the profile_profile theme function, but no valid template file was found.

I'm trying to solve, if I succeed I'll tell you....

Hi midtoad,

You're using the wrong snippet...you shuold be looking at the Customising the user list layout.

the snippet you used was for theming the user profile nodes themselves. i.e. the node that is displayed when you click on MY ACCOUNT or when you click on a username in the USER LIST.
