Description

The way the module works now, if you post a comment and say you want to be kept updated about other comments, you won't get any message until someone posts another comment or reply. I think it would be better to get some immediate feedback to let the poster know something happened and give them an immediate opportunity to unsubscribe if they want to.

Since this is different than the current behavior, I added an option in the settings for whether or not you want this to happen, but IMO it should be the default behavior.

This patch adds a third message box for the message that goes to the original author, and also cleans things up a bit by putting all the substitutions in one place, below the form, instead of repeating them below every message box.

Hmmm - interesting ideas. I'd like to get thoughts from other people on this idea. I don't like the thought of getting an e-mail about my own comments, so I'm -1 on that part, but will let other folks provide feedback.

Can you provide a screenshot of this?

I would like to send a thank you message to the comment poster. This is gonna be good improvement.

The code looks good to me. However the text should not assume the comment is on a blog post.

More accurate status. To reiterate: I'd like to split this out into the separate features of reducing help text and sending immediately (and make sending immediately optional).
