Thanks for friendlist, as I'm getting the hang of it, it's great. I do have one question - I have a website where there is a custom content type that I created to showcase basketball players, is it possible to use this module to become a fan of a custom "player" node, instead of a user?

give use the ability to flag the node, and have a block of all the node the user flaged show on a block along the user profile...

I confirm that FriendList is there to allow friendships betweek users -- flag is the way you want to go.
