Hello all-
I am upgrading a test_site from 4.5.2 to 4.6.3.
when I got to the last update changelog date, I saw that there was no update needed.
excited by my new success, I wanted to see what the site would look like in my old theme.
now I get this:
user error: Unknown column 'severity' in 'field list'
query: INSERT INTO watchdog (uid, type, message, severity, link, location, hostname, timestamp) VALUES (0, 'access denied', '<em>admin</em> denied access.', 1, '<a href=\"admin\" class=\"active\">view</a>', '/test_site/index.php?q=admin', '68.237.235.150', 1138478972) in /home/shojo62/public_html/test_site/includes/database.mysql.inc on line 66.
Fatal error: Unknown column 'severity' in 'field list' query: INSERT INTO watchdog (uid, type, message, severity, link, location, hostname, timestamp) VALUES (0, 'php', 'Unknown column \'severity\' in \'field list\' query: INSERT INTO watchdog (uid, type, message, severity, link, location, hostname, timestamp) VALUES (0, \'access denied\', \'<em>admin</em> denied access.\', 1, \'<a href=\\"admin\\" class=\\"active\\">view</a>\', \'/test_site/index.php?q=admin\', \'68.237.235.150\', 1138478972) in /home/shojo64/public_html/test_site/includes/database.mysql.inc on line 66.', 2, '', '/test_site/index.php?q=admin', '68.237.235.150', 1138478972) in /home/shojo62/public_html/test_site/includes/database.mysql.inc on line 66
is there anyway for me to correct this without having to "do it all over"?

update failed
this tells me that at least watchdog is NOT updated.

OK, so what are the steps I should take
1)Do I reinstall the the backup version I had (4.5.2) and do it all over?
a) if so, should i not jump from 4.5.2 to 4.6.0 but pick the one where watchdog was updated?
2)Can I revert back to 4.6.2?
3) Or is there something else I can do?

getting there...
Great, that helped. My site is back up.
BUT...
I still get an error:
where the number "164" runs all the way to "148"
I am not sure what this is telling me.
