Hi there,
We need a developer to modify a current Ubercart shipping module (Austpost), or to create a new contribution to do the same job (preferred, and more helpful for the Ubercart community).

Basically, we use the Austpost shipping module with Ubercart. The Austpost module connects to the Australia post website with the required address, package arguments and sends back a quote for shipping once it checks with its own database of postcodes). Perfect! However, Australia post only give shipping quotes for small packages. We have small packages we need to ship, as well as large ones of varying sizes and weight.

At the moment, Ubercart has a price multiplyer but it's one percentage applied to all items in the store.

An Austpost modification would be perfect if, when the user selects "caculate shipping", it would get the quote, and check to see what the item number is. If the item number matches a specific one, then multiply it by a certain amount.

However, a more useful solution for the community would be to create a contribution/module which will multiply shipping quotes returned by a specific amount set by each store item.

If we could get this functionality in, it would solve my problem, and I'm sure someone else will find it useful too.

Please message me with a quote at :

I can pay via Paypal upon completion, thanks.
