There's a lot of similar modules for similarity. Have you spoken with the folks behind Recommender API? Are you working together? Since there is so much overlap, it doesn't feel right to use all these multiple modules. Maybe Recommender API can be incorporated into this module, or vice versa?

daniel and I have talked quite a bit. Recommender API doesn't expose any interface. So it was believed that this could act as the interface to it. The problem is Recommender API has some db scaling issues (at least at that time). So until those are resolved, this will exist.

Also Recommender API does more then similarity objects. Its kindof CRE + similarity.
