In IE7, views with a lot of columns spill over to the right past the 960px width they should stay in. Scrolling down the page brings the floating table header up as expected, but the header is the correct 960px width. This makes it so that the columns don't line up.
I'd provide a screen shot, but the data is sensitive and on our intranet. I have ten columns in the view if that helps.
Also, I see in FireBug that each column has a specified width, whereas in IE they don't. I don't know if that helps either.
Anyone else have this issue? Solutions?
Thanks.

jwolf commentedYeah, I'm gonna need something to help me visualize this. Could you provide a screenshot with your sensitive data redacted?
Also, is this just in the main-content area or in one of the regions?

bchoc commentedI believe I am seeing the same or a similar problem with only one column in the View.
In my situation it only seems to occur in IE + Safari & Chrome, but not FireFox. The table is simply overrunning it's space. I can probably get a screenshot or even link to you if you need more details that what rconstantine uploaded.

bchoc commentedHere is an example on a colleague's site:

The testimonials Block at right overlaps with the Views table. (You may have to refresh a few times if you get a short quote that doesn't go far enough down the page.) This looks fine in Firefox, but overlaps IE, Safari, or Chrome.

jwolf commentedWe're in the process of porting the Acquia themes over to our new theme system, Fusion.
We are unable to dedicate resources to fixing this in the 1.x branch since Fusion will solve this issue.
