When you create content, the entire "create content" menu (Title, Menu settings, body, Input format, Book outline......Publishing options) ends up in the same container as the published article. That container uses a background that is easy to read text.

When you EDIT the article that you previously created, the same items as before are NOT displayed in a container, but on the background of the sheet (the larger container that holds the blocks and the articles). In my case, this is dark, making it difficult to read the menu items (Title, Menu settings, body, Input format, Book outline......Publishing options).

This was not an issue until I created a theme with a dark background. It is only an issue when EDITING content, not CREATING content.

Is there a way to have the EDIT button display in the same manner as the CREATE CONTENT item?

Additional note: This is NOT the same problem as the editor background.

This issue appears to be caused by a non-standard theme change, and modifying the Edit button isn't viable at this point in the 6.x life-cycle. Since Drupal 7 content creation works entirely differently (using the overlay), I'm marking this as won't fix. Feel free to re-open this issue if you disagree or have more information.
