Hi All,

I've had a drupal installation working for the past 6 months or so. Now suddently the admin username will not work, I keep get the "Sorry, unrecognized username or password. Have you forgotten your password?" message. If I request a new password and click on the link in the mail I can log in and browse all teh admin pages, I've tried changing the password and logging out but again it wont work. I've also tried changing the details from the mysql manager directly but still nothing.

Any ideas?

Use phpmyadmin to view the drupal db. View the user table. Find admin. Edit password and select md5 from the dropdownbox on the left and you should be able to log in!

Ive tried this but it just wont work. I've just realised that it might be related to something else. I have login toboggan installed, and if I try logging in with my email address, it works fine. So its something to do with the username. It's strange though cause it just suddenly happen, without me adding any other modules.
