Since these are issues with Bad Behavior itself (and not with the Drupal adaption), you would get a better reponsiveness from the upstream author Michael Hamptom badbots@ioerror.us.

That said, I am happy to continue acting as an intermediary.

In this case, the error is temporary and caused by a short-term blacklist. If you peruse the logs to an earlier time you will find the initial cause from the same IP address. BB has temporarily blocked that IP address in order to discourage attempts to adapt to Bad Behaviour.

I am closing this request, but if you find that the real cause is also an issue then feel free to reopen it.
