Description

I have installed and enabled the module however it is not visible in the site configuration menu.

I have not been able to find any install documentation for this module so I do not know if there are any additional steps I must do in order to use.

Appreciate comments

On your site, navigate to /admin/settings/gmaplocation

It is also in your site configuration menu, unless you've done something v. odd to your setup.

I'm having the same issue, and no, there's nothing odd with my site config. Plain old vanilla. I'm also not able to navigate to the url you suggested.

Ah. Well the latter will be because you are not logged in as user ID 1, and you have not given yourself "edit gmaplocation" permissions under /admin/user/permissions.

Perhaps that was the problem being experienced by the OP too.

I likely stand partly corrected. There was a bug that meant even when a user was given "edit gmaplocation" permissions, they could not administer gmaplocation unless they were user ID 1 anyway, in which case the permissions have no effect. This has been corrected in #497600: User Access Permission and will thus be fixed in the next release. (Download nightly -dev build to get it in the meantime, by selecting "Show all releases"—though it has not built yet as this only happens at certain times of day.)

Marking as duplicate of #497600: User Access Permission.
