My 5.x site provides rss feeds through Views and taxonomy terms. This works just fine.
Access through http://mysite.com/rss.xml leads to an error. I was wondering: is this rss.xml actually required? Could I remove it without hindering the rss feeds? And what is this rss.xml actually needed for? When I use it, I get a feed from some waaaay old items.
So, in short: can I get rid of rss.xml without jeopardizing my taxonomy and Views based feeds?
