When dragging terms in a list, their weights are forced to range from 0 up to 128. Since I have more terms, the 129th, 130th terms, etc. can not be dragged into their proper place.
Weight can manually be set to start at -128, -127, -126 etc, but as soon as a term is dragged, the weight begins at 0, 1, 2 etc, and I am unable to drag all terms into their proper place.
Term weights should begin at -128, when dragged and saved. Even better, weights should not be restricted to -128 to 127. The weight field should indicate the range allowed.
My terms are a sequential list: Issue #1, Issue #2 .. Issue #100.. Issue #140, etc.

dawehnerthe Problem is that, the database field is only tiny int
change the weight field of {term_data} to normal int, and all is fine
this problem was there many times, search for more descriptions

iantresman commentedAh yes. See "Need bigger weight range!"
Dragging should still cope with the range -128 to +127, rather than defaulting to 0 to +127.

xjmMarking as duplicate of #612870: Weight fields should be int, not tinyint, which is patched in D7 and set to be backported to D6.
