Hello Fago...
I'm not sure if the rules module is able to do what we are trying to do or not.... So I thought I'd ask the maker... the rule would be this... If a user has a content profile created... then they will have chosen a taxonomy and a location... We want them to be notified if another content type is posted and the term and location match their content profile schematics... then they recieve an email that new content has been posted... Is this possible?

mitchell commentedPlease re-describe your workflow using the present tense, from start to finish. 'Will have' is difficult to put in order.

Daryljames commentedUsers of a certain role can have a content profile... when they set up their content profile they choose from two different vocabularies... one stating a "location" and one stating a "category" ... if another content type is posted on the site with the same terms chosen in that content type as that of the owner of the content profile... we want the owner of the content profile to be notified... preferably we would like to not have to use the "location" vocabulary and would like to use the location module... but that definatly seems beyond the scope of what rules can do at this point...
Thank you very much for any help in advance...

mitchell commentedThis will take some playing around with #371728: Load Multiple Nodes to perform actions on them to accomplish, or you can wait for Rules2. It will have support for loading lists of users or nodes and performing actions on them
