Crowd sourced Drupal Ideas

Not to be a copy-cat but I have always liked the concept of crowd sourced ideas..

Some of this already exists but there is more we can do, such as enhancement voting...

Here are a few examples where the community create and vote on the future of their product.

• WordPress Ideas
• Salesforce IdeasExchange
• Ubuntu Brainstorm
• Dell IdeaStorm

Using Drupal as the engine along with a couple of contributed modules why can't we build our own http://ideas.drupal.org.

This site could be another example of the power of the contributed modules available to our community.

As food-for-thought we could build a system that is also integrated into each projects page offering a way to vote on enhancements.

Anyway... This is to promote the idea, and get user opinion...
