When the module content access is enabled the book access module no longer functions and all books are open to all users including anonymous. Not critical as content control can be done through permissions but I did like the convenience of this module.

Book Access handles a specific content type, while Content Access is for a generic content type; I am not sure it's possible to make them cooperate, even if I understand that somebody would like to have a fine control over the permissions given to the users when they deal with book nodes (and still use both the modules).
