Interesting issue. This only occurs when using the IE browsers (AFAIK) and only when registering (i.e., as an anonymous user). Basically what happens is that, upon the page loading, both the Available Options and the Selected Options fields are fully populated with all options. To see visually what I mean, either see the attached screenshot or visit:

Please don't register unless you're trying to help me fix this - your registration WILL be deleted.

Using D6.14, latest CCK, Content Profile, Multiselect and CCK Fieldgroup Tabs - all latest dev versions as of today.

Any ideas anyone?

Title: Multi-select doesn't work for anonymous users in IE (6,7 and 8) » Multi-select doesn't work for anonymous users in IE (6,7 and 8) at registration when Content Profile is enabled

Have changed the title to more accurately reflect the issue. Multiselect does work when logged in and editing the relevant content type but not during registration when used in conjunction with Content Profile.

Also, if you visit the link above, you won't see this behaviour because I've currently disabled the content type with the multi-select field from appearing during registration. Again, if you're helping me solve it and you wish me to switch it back on, let me know.

I've never used this Content Profile module, so I can't say what the conflict might be. Please keep me posted if you're able to narrow it down (patches, etc.).

Hi, we've changed the way that we're doing the registration now so this is not an issue for this site although as far as I'm aware, the issue still exists technically.
