* Being able to use ImageField fields to store images versus this weird hackish kinda thing it currently does.
* Being able to present vocabularies separately, e.g. a separate list for "categories" vs tags. See how Wordpress does it, that's how most blog writing tools work.
* Bigger goal: define a new standard for the vocabularies that allows each one to be defined individually. Drupal has one of the most advanced vocabulary engines out there so I think we'd need to define the API.

That's off the top of my head, but there was more.
