Given the degree of change between 6.x-2.0-alpha1 and dev 6.x-2.x-dev, I'm wondering what will be involved in getting onto the 6.x-2.x-dev branch if I use either the 6.x-2.0-alpha1 release or the 6.x-1.0 release for now. (We're building a new site on Acquia installation of 6.0... and shooting to go live within the next month.)
Upgrade.txt says that anyone who used an earlier version of this module (1.5 or earlier) would have had to cancel all subscriptions on paypal/sandbox and completely uninstall the module (drop tables, etc) before upgrading to a newer version. Doesn't that cause problems for sites with existing subscribers? Is that what someone going from versions prior to current dev release will have to do?
This module seems like a good solution for folks who just want to have a few subscription plans, but I'm having trouble figuring out which version to go with right now, if I want to ultimately be on the 6.x-2.x-dev branch (which I assume will be integrated with Drupal 6 triggers/actions (or, ideally, the Rules module).
what do you recommend?
BTW - the function names in the sample code provided in the readme.txt do not work with your current dev version... e.g. It looks like the function name lm_paypal_can_subscribe changed to lm_paypal_subscriptions_can_subscribe.
thanks,
Kathy
