Would it be possible to have a image preview when the user selects a picture upon registration?

Here's the module which enables that, but sadly only at user profile pages, combining somehow those two modules would be probably good idea http://drupal.org/project/ajax_pic_preview

I agree. I did look at that module awhile back. My knowledge of drupal api is average at best, but I'm thinking that adding a function to use ajax picture preview might some how work? I haven't looked at the code from that module though.
I'm actually a bit suprised this issue hasn't been brought up, as it is a very common feature when it comes to uploading images.
