Issue Summary
At the bottom of the topic/reply form is a "Notify me when a reply is posted" (see #472590: Meta-issue: Make posting form more like phpBB's).
This is probably just http://drupal.org/project/comment_notify.

The comment notify module should do the job here. I'm patching Drubb to add some installation settings and a dependency for that.
