Reconcile threading in the node type form UI

In the node type form, when using node comments there is a choice to select a view, but there are also choices for threading. These need to be reconciled:

1) we need to know if threading is in use or not because it can affect what happens when a single comment is deleted. i.e, if using flatforum style comments we do not want to delete child comments.
2) There seems to be a problem with the views dependency I used to turn the gadgets off if "Drupal comments" are selected. They're showing up by default, even though when you switch the select away from drupal comments and back they go away. I've never seen that happen within Views. :P
