I've been working on a public-facing web site for a local, private Christian school for a bit and wanted to get the opine of the folks here (since most everyone here is much better @ this then I am).

Site URL: http://www.lvchs.org/

The theme is a *slightly* modified gworks theme. The banner rotation is done with a modified script from http://www.hiveware.com/imagerotator.php.

Main modules in use: blog, book, event, flexinode, image, menu, nice_menus (props to the author of this one!), path, scheduler, scripturefilter, trip_search (wow: a great module indeed!), and webform (saved me *hours* of typing).

The "LVCHS In Pictures" page uses phpFlickr (http://www.phpflickr.com/) as the back-end and a very small script to produce the gallery appearance.

I plan on using the forum to enable contact with alumni as well as potentially enabling communication between student/parents/teachers (though they have a separate service which does most of that).

Any and all comments about the web site are most welcome.

nicely done site, you should consider writing a case study for http://www.drupaled.org.

It looks very good. We presently have a web site and can drupal to it. Have you found a lot of the staff inserting/adding content? How many?
Training for those using it- how long for effective use after set up?
Looks like a great method to make it happen.
Thanks
