pager not working

the pager at the bottom of the list doesn't work, it goes back to the form and display an empty list.

I'm just now getting around to confirming the bug, which I did.

The search pager is implemented in a clumsy way, so I'm concentrating more on #24957: Search Watchdog Log to maybe bring this module to EOL.
