Custom Discount per product (based on the CCK module?)

I tried the discount_alt module and I'm pretty happy with it. Altough it doesn't allow me a simple way to give editors and people that input the products enough space to alter the discount.

So, I would like the following :
- when you add a new product you can choose which discount appplies to the created product
- being able to specify a percentage or solid amount of discount for a specific discount. I think this could be easily done if you make a mechanism that once the discount is specified in the node/add/product form, it get's added to the discount admin pages and is selectable in the future for other products?
