Hello,

I am new to Drupal.
How can I display rss newsfeeds on my site?

Thanks,

The Aggregator2 module will do that for you - it creates a new node per RSS item it retrieves.

The standard core installation also has the aggregator module.

It is not as feature laden as Aggregator2 but works the same way and some people may not want nodes automatically created - even though, that is a neat feature..

Ah, that would explain why I couldn't spot the link in the Modules page - didn't realise it came as part of core.

Could someone briefly summarize the difference between the Aggregator module in core 4.7 and the Aggregator2 module? Maybe a better question would be, what improvements have been made in the aggretator module between 4.6.5 and 4.7 Beta? Are these improvements enough to not need Aggreator2?

Thanks,
Bryan
