I have page view of a list of events. If I filter by event type each event - no matter how many days it covers - appears only once. If I do not filter and show all types of events multi-day events are listed multiple times (once for each day covered). Is there a way - surely there must be - to make the events appear only one time in the list. I assume I need to list by start date or something like that but I don't see how.

I have looked more closely and it seems that what is actually going on is that regardless of the event length each event is listed 6 times if there is no filter.

Any ideas??
