I've installed Drupal latest version on my vista machine. Installation went OK, but it looks like I cant add any extra modules or themes. Themes and modules just don't appear in the module or theme list. Only the ones that came with the basic drupal package. Any ideas? Firstly I downloaded modules and themes to their respective directories. Then I changed them and moved them into /sites/all/modules or sites/all/themes. Still not working. I've allowed total open access to these directories. So permission issues are not a problem.

What do you mean by Then I changed them?
When you download, say, a theme, you just need to unzip it and upload the folder and its contents to: sites/all/themes
and it should be there.
