Hi,

Trouble being able to setup a slide show with FPSS. I have followed the instructions as described by the README.txt file with no success trying to create a new slide show, and therefore no slides either.

Could you please add the process of adding slide shows and slides to the README.txt

Hello,

After you install the FPSS module and upload the fpss files to it (after you purchase that of course) you will have to go to:

Administer > Site Building > Modules and enable the Frontpage Slideshow from there.

The you have to go to:
Administer > Site Configuration > Frontpage Slidshow and make sure that the folders there are correct... Most of the users face a problem with the CSS folder... Simply open your ftp program and create a folder in your site root and call it css and chmod it 777

Stay in the ftp and go to "sites" folder and chmod the folder "default" 777 too.
Then open the "default" folder and chmod the folder "files" 777 too.

After that go to your website and go to:
Create Content > Slideshow and create a new slideshow with the dimensions and options you need.

After that go to:
Administer > Site Building > Blocks and enable the slideshow block you created in the previous step.

After that go to:
Administer > User Management > Permissions and give the permissions you want to the groups you have.

After that go to:
Create Content > Slide and I hope you will find it easy from that stage ;)

You may get a slideshow with thumbnails only so all what you need to do is to go to:
Administer > Site Configuration > Frontpage Slideshow and you can disable the JS optimize and try... You may try to disable or enable some of the options you have there untill it works with you and I hope you wont need it ;)

I do your steps with good result - but I have one Issue
after creating slideshow content, then create 4 slide contents - the "slideshow" just accept the first slide contents and ignore the others :(
I try to the others 3 slides many times but the same result :( slideshow block cant see them
please help

Views slide show drupal module is used for for slideshow.
e.g,install views slide show...
we have to add nodes of some node type ... add image fields into this type and make a view add node title and img as fields and filter it as ur node type and make the style as slidshow in view. that's all over...taste how it's work.
