Could not the project be marked as abandoned? The users who are looking for a similar module could be redirected to Book Page Access.

There have not been commits from the end of January.

I sent an email to the current maintainer asking him to comment here.

Neglected yes, abandoned, not quite :)

since i still don't have much time to give to it, i'll add you as a maintainer.

all i ask is that you not break it or add a bunch of bugs that i have to track down and remove :)
